The micro-blogging site "Twitter" managed to win the first round of the judicial dispute with the American billionaire, Elon Musk, against the background of the latter's announcement to cancel the deal to buy the site, which amounted to $44 billion.

A judge in a Delaware state court said there was a "cloud of uncertainty" about the Twitter deal, while declaring the acceptance of the site's argument that the delay would damage its business.

The court ordered the next session to be held in October.
 "Delays risk irreparable harm, and the longer the delay, the higher the risks," said Chief Justice Kathleen McCormick.

She stressed that the court was able to handle lawsuits quickly.

Legal experts, according to what the British newspaper “The Guardian” reported, on Tuesday night, Wednesday, considered this development good news for “Twitter”, which requested that there be a speedy handling of the lawsuit.
Twitter, which filed a lawsuit against Musk, is seeking to force him to complete the acquisition deal.

A lawyer representing Twitter in the trial accused Musk of "attempting to sabotage" the site, stressing that he was "doing everything in his power to disrupt his work."

But the matter may end up obligating Musk to terminate the agreement, which may amount to more than one billion dollars.

And Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, announced, in early July, the cancellation of the huge deal, due to what he said was the failure of Twitter to reveal the true size of the fake accounts in it.
