British military intelligence said, on Saturday, that Ukrainian forces continued their offensive in the Kherson region, west of the Dnipro River.

And she pointed out that the additional Ukrainian strikes caused more damage to the main Antonevsky bridge, although Russia made temporary repairs to it, according to "Reuters".
Russian media quoted the deputy head of the Kherson region, Kirill Strimosov, as saying that "American specialists are the ones who are supervising the bombing of the Kherson region, southern Ukraine, using the American HIMARS missile system."
Ukrainian forces carried out several attacks on the dam of the hydroelectric power station in Novaya Kakhovka and the Antonovsky bridge near Kherson.
Part of the bridge was badly damaged, and trucks were prohibited from moving over it and directed to Novaya Kakhovka.
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced in a statement that the Russian armed forces destroyed 4 US "HIMARS" missile launchers, which the United States transferred to Ukraine between July 5 and 20.
This Russian statement regarding the HIMARS missile launchers comes 24 hours after US statements denying the destruction of such launchers in Ukraine.
On Thursday, the Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley, denied Russia's destruction of any of the "HIMARS" missile systems in Ukraine.
Western newspapers quoted Milley as saying: "So far, Russia has not succeeded in destroying any of the HIMARs missile systems in Ukraine," adding that "Ukrainian forces are effectively using HIMARS and similar systems."
For his part, a senior US Defense Department official told "Sky News Arabia" that the Russian armed forces are unable to destroy the HIMARS systems, even if they are targeted by S-400 missiles.
