#US colonel: Putin's tactics in Ukraine are insurmountable

 Colonel Douglas MacGregor, an advisor to the former US Secretary of Defense, stressed that the Russian army is slowly advancing in Ukraine to reduce losses, and US assistance to Kiev will not prevent Moscow from achieving its goals.

The US colonel said during an interview with Judging Freedom on YouTube that "our support can only delay the progress of the Russians in some axes and for a short period, but it will not change anything, will not stop the progress of the Russian army, and will not fundamentally change the course of events in favor of Ukraine."

McGregor also pointed out that Russian President Vladimir Putin adhered from the beginning to a plan aimed at inflicting minimal destruction, even if it led to a prolongation of the conflict.
